About Me

I moved to Settle in January 2022. Having been born and raised in Bradford and lived there all my life, I felt it was time for a change. I have worked for a small publishing company in Brighouse, West Yorkshire for 22 years, looking after the company website, email and general technical side of things and wanted to make use of those skills in my new local community.

After being asked by friends and neighbours to help out with technical enquiries on a range of things that many of us take for granted, but which can completely baffle others, such as software updates on computers, anti-virus and security options, setting up a smartphone or a tablet, transferring data from one device to another, or how to use streaming TV services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, I realised there was a demand for honest and clearly explained help and advice that comes from a reliable local source, rather than a remote website, a hard to reach telephone helpdesk or a confusing manual.

So, I decided to launch SettleTech, offering friendly, one to one technical help and advice, tailored to the customer’s needs. No technobabble, no pressure, just straightforward solutions, with no problem too small.
